This week was very hard to think of a cupcake.. There wasn't a lot of food in the house because I didn't get paid yet and couldn't go out and buy the ingredients I wanted. So I used what I had...
Still got a delishious cupcake thought ;)
It's a cinnamon apple sauce raisin cupcake. I think this one definitely in one of the top 5 favorites <3
This is where the receipt came from, Sal got me this book for Easter, it's called 500 cupcakes. One day, I'll make then all lol. But I do like this photo because it shows where the cupcake comes and is indeed inside the cupcake, without it, I wouldn't know what to make because I don't think I'm experienced enough yet to throw together random stuff.
ALMONDS!
True Story! Receipt say pecans, only had almonds, still tasted yummy though :D
I REALLY love the texture of that one almond in the middle and I love how it flows together. And! Surprisingly the yellow lighting didn't make me mad in this because it sort of works.
Yums. This is the cute little delight. It was so fluffy, more fluffy than any cupcake. I don't know why but that's ok it did taste amazing lol.

Hippity Hop, Easter's on its wayyy...
As everyone knows, Easter is just around the corner and you know whats yummy on Easter?
EASTER BUNNY CUPCAKES ... mmm <3
This morning I made cinnamon raisin cupcakes, I figured that I made carrot too much and wanted to make it something different.
But as this project is almost to a close, it was fun. I liked that it kept me taking photos every week because I've been struggling with taking photos for a while just because I couldn't think of any ideas.
Mmm.. Raisins <3 I LOVE raisins. (I really think I just love any type of fruit lol)
But these are raisins taking a bath in orange juice .. sounds gross right? Well they had to be boiled in orange juice for some reason.. that's the receipt said lol.
I do like this photo a lot though, I love the texture of the raisins mixed with the orange juice.
Butttttter.Looks pretty in black and white. But butter is just ugly so I had to hide it some how and make it look pretty :)
YAY! Cupcake scooper :)
Without this my cupcake pan with look EXTRA messy ;)
I hate that it makes it look more yellow than it really is though.
This one is my favorite <3
You can't make cupcakes without the papers because the batter will stick and be a pain.
I like the colors because it's so springy and how it has a depth.
YAYYYY Easter Bunny!
These are the cinnamon raisin cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. His feet are fondant though and I don't think it's a good idea to be eating them. But these did taste pretty good :)

Carrot, Chocolate, Vanilla OH MY!
Those are the three flavors I made for the art show :)
These photos are of cinnamon, my whisk/batter, veggie oil, and vanilla extract.
As I'm much futher along in this project, I'm finding it harder to find ingridents to take photos of, I feel like I'm running out :(. BUT my plan for next week is to make blueberry cupcakes! Hey, it might be good lol.
OH! I didn't add the final cupcake photo. If you want to seeeee them, go to the art show, they'll be there. :)
This week, my photos are in a web gallery, I hope you don't mind :)

Give me some Sugar :)
I love you sweetness. But your not sweet, you mess with my head. All day and all night we argue and fight but still you leave guilty crumbs in my bed. ;)
Yep, that's a commercial song. But I heart it.
So I made fat free chocolate cupcakes with strawberries on top but orginially I wanted to fill them with strawberries but I don't have the special tool to make the little whole to fill it but it still tasted just as yummy :)
SUGAR! Who doesn't like it?
So, this photo was a little hard to take because I needed to pour the sugar in the measuring cup while hitting the shutter. By it being a little bit of a pain in the booty my Boyfriend had to pour the sugar for me, but it looks like I had the photo in my head so I'm happy with it and I'm glad he helped. :)
Mmmm. Coco Powder.
Its needed for chocolate cupcakes, it what makes the sooo delicious. <3
Coco powder, its pretty ugly. That's why I added the hershey bar, to make it look more yummy.
This is the yummy cupcake. ITS FAT FREE! :D Its chocolate and strawberry, who doesn't love that together? Mmmm. Surprisingly these chocolate cupcakes taste more delish than any other chocolate cupcakes I've ever made :)

FLOUR! The main ingredent.
Everybody knows that flour is greatest thing in a cupcake's life. It needs it to survive.
If it doesn't have this, it would be just a nasty blob of sugar.
YAY FLOUR!
So, I wasn't sure how to make flour look different from the baking soda photo, so I decided to attack my black skirt with flour to give it a different look. And this is actually my hand print but since I so smartly forgot I owned a tripod (lol) I bent in all weird directions so I can try and make it like there was different tones in it. Instead of a big thing of white.
This lovely cupcake is Peanut Butter Chocolate with butter cream frosting and some crushed up banana chips on top. Mmmm. Its like an extra large peanut butter cup.
So I have decided that I don't have a favorite cupcake out of these yet. They all taste amazing <3

Stawberries. Banana Batter.
Strawberry fields foreverrr.
So last night I made low fat banana cupcakes.
Not gonna lie, I thought it might be gross but I wanted to do it anyways; to try it.
But. I'm glad I did because mmmmmmmmm, they were yummy <3
Mmmm. Banana batter <3
so this is my beater.. I never really use it but I had to make the banana all smooth and creamy. But me, being tiny and weak, I couldn't do it and my boyfriend wasn't there to be the strong hero for me (lol).
And by doing this, was a million times easier, seriously, I don't know why I haven't used it before, instead of mixing it and taking a break orrrr Sal watching me do that and him helping me.
BUT lets talk about the photo shall we ;) ... OK, I love it black and white, color looked gross again. But I had the black and white in mind so I didn't fiddle with the color too much.
STRAWBERRRRY!
I love strawberries lol
I love how the inside looks fun. Kind of reminds me of the sun, or something like it (lol)
These were placed on top of the cupcake, I figured that putting strawberries on top would make them less like banana bread. AND it worked ;)
This is the cupcake. Its very light and delightful. Still tasted like banana bread but fluffier. BUT thats ok, it was yuummmy <3
(nothing still hasn't beat last weeks cupcake, the maple carrot cake)

Carrots?!
Mmmmm. Carrots <3
Yes, carrots indeed.
One of my favorite type of cake is Carrot Cake <3
A couple years ago I would have cringed at the thought of eating it because I thought the thought of carrots in cake was so gross. But on one of Sal and I's first dates about two years ago, he ordered carrot cake as a dessert and wanted me to spilt it with him and I caved in and tried it. I loved it ever since :)
These are my carrots. So, it was my first time making carrot cake and that's why they'll cut in different shapes lol. But by the end, I got them they way they were suppose to be :)
I think this whole series I have been doing, will be in macro, I do take other photos but I only seem to like them close up, which isn't a bad thing :). So far though, I like what I have :)
Yums.
This little carrot cake was like a little piece of heaven in your month. It was made with maple syrup, cinnamon, carrots, and cream cheese frosting..and the other needed stuff lol. It was prefect and fluffy <3

Baking Soda.
Can't bake a cake without the baking soda. Without it...the cake will be a rock.
I did this by trying to get some what of all the measuring spoons in but focus on the obvious one that will filled up baking soda. I liked that the little jar is the background because thats part of the baking soda. The reason I felt the need to show this is because one night a few months ago I was baking cookies and realized "OH NO! I don't have any baking soda :( " then! I called my grandparents and TADA they gave me baking soda. :) But I know this is is black and white rather than color is because there was a nasty yellow lighting and no matter I tried to fix it, it didn't look good so I decided to try it and it looks soo much better.
Favorite lime green spachula with yummy chocolate chips in the batter <3
I love the color but my favorite part of this image is the bubbles in the batter and how it adds depth. Also, I feel it would empty without the teenie chocolate chips that didn't make it into the batter.
The final product, low fat vanilla cupcake with chocolate chips and vanilla frosting.. MmmmMMmm.

The Egg
These photos are about what is inside the cupcake. Baking cupcakes are my favorite thing to do. I love everything about them, how they smell, look, and taste. I loved baking when I was younger, probably when I was about 9 and when I was that age I did nothing but watch the food network. The reason I even started to love baking was because my Grandparents have been baking longer than I could remember. They bake these awesome cookies that everyone loves and they bake and decorate different ones according to who's birthday or what holiday; there has never been the same cookie.
BUT this blog is going to be a photo blog that is going to be about what goes inside the cupcake. The things that keeps them together.
The egg.
As I was taking this photo, I found out that my table was completely off balance. I cracked the egg on the table and it slide allllll the way down and I had to chase it with napkins and I couldn't use it because it was on the run. BUT this egg found a home on a the counter top where it finally stayed still :)
The final product.
These will not be in my final portfolio but I figured they were yummy to see. This was a fat free chocolate yummy filled with vanilla pudding and chocolate frosting. I know fat free doesn't sound too delish but Sal, my Parents, and Sal's Parents are confinced I'm going to make everyone fat so I chose to make them still guilt free and yummy to eat :)
